Nice and quiet location. Ideal for short breaks with your dog. Small but fine menu. Great view.

Nice clean rooms. Breakfast unfortunately only from 07:00 a.m. Good value for money.

Pleasant hotel, clean and modern. Nice attentive staff. The food is down to earth but good. Point deduction for the wine list. Only German red wines with a retail price of 4 euros, if you want to enjoy wine you better go somewhere else. The routing in the hotel is strange to say the least. But a pleasant hotel again.

We have enjoyed our stay. The hotel is in a nice quiet location. From the breakfast or dining room you have a great view of the surrounding landscape. The rooms were nicely furnished and everything was available, what you need. The breakfast was plentiful and we enjoyed it a lot. Particularly noteworthy was the attentive and friendly service. Dinner was delicious too. It was wonderfully quiet at night, so you could sleep well. Since we were actually out from morning to night, we didn't use any of the hotel's facilities. We were very satisfied with the price / performance ratio and would choose the hotel again if we are in Thuringia. Dear hotel team, Thank you very much for the pleasant time we were able to have with you. We really appreciate this, as the Corona crisis hit some of the hotels and restaurants very hard. We wish you all the best and, despite everything, a successful year 2020.

I can only judge the food here and it tastes very good - good quality and good, nice service! There is also a beautiful, lovingly furnished children's play area.

Very quiet location, good accommodation, very good food, from here you can quickly reach excursion destinations within a radius of 50 km (also by bike), well-equipped sauna.

The Jägerhof and the team around Ms. Braun go out of their way to fulfill the wishes of each guest individually. Children and dogs were very welcome. For the children there was a very good menu in the evening and enough breakfast variations in the morning. If something is missing, the attentive chef is also willing to fulfill the wish. The rooms are being renovated little by little and so the overall condition of the hotel improves. The bathrooms are good. Above all, I found everything to be clean !!! The food a la carte was very good. The seasonal and regional specialties were on a very good level. Super tender meat. The location is perfect for family celebrations. The hotel is a bit old. But everything is clean and working. Great value for money. Food was great. No longer eaten such a good roulade.

We celebrated our wedding with over 70 guests there. The service was very fast and friendly and the food was great and plentiful. Thank you for the lovely evening!

We went with 2 children for brunch: the food was ok .. not bad but not outstanding either. Unfortunately the atmosphere was quite unsettled as there were a lot of guests. Quiet conversations were hardly possible. There is a well-equipped children's play area. However, it is located in the passage to the toilet and also has an exit to the courtyard and thus to the street - so unfortunately it is not possible to just let small children play. The staff was friendly at the table, otherwise the guest was rather airy .. there wasn't even a 'good day' when we came in.

The rooms are relatively old, but really clean. Some of the rooms are newer. The meals are good and the staff is really polite and nice.
